Delivery and Shipping

We ship to all countries within the DAN Southern Africa Region:

South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Comores, Seychelles and Mauritius

International Shipping Charges

All items shipped to all countries outside South Africa's borders will be quoted for.  The shipping quote will be emailed to you separately from your order confirmation as shipping options are varied and the option and shipping cost that best suits you must be selected by you.

Where the DAN Shop pays for shipping on your behalf before shipment, your outstanding shipping payment will be expected in full before shipment commences.

Tracking numbers are generated by the Courier / Forwarder and you will receive a link and the tracking number to track your parcels.

You are welcome to arrange for shipment from the DAN Store.

Depending on the quoted option you choose, shipping could take between 4 days and 6 weeks.

Tax / VAT and Custom Duties

You will have to pay for VAT and Customs when the order arrives in the country you are sending it to.  Customers in Namibia and Botswana will only have to pay for the VAT applicable in the country of delivery and should be exempt from customs.  You will be contacted by an agent at our delivery company to finalise customs and VAT payments as well as any other handling fees which might be applicable before the goods can be delivered.  Handling fees could cost up to 10% of the invoice value.  Please take this into account when making a purchase, the DAN Shop cannot be held responsible for the VAT and Customs charges that are payable, as these charges are out of our control and are determined by the customs office in your country.

Please note that your invoice will not show South African VAT.

Shipping within South Africa's borders

We ship to all destinations within South Africa:

  1. Postnet to Postnet
    • Calculated at volumetric weight
    • Your tracking number will be emailed to you.  You may request your tracking number to be sent via SMS or WhatsApp too
  2. Door to Door Courier Service
    • Any item with a volumetric weight of more than 15kg will automatically be selected for Door to Door Courier Service
    • At check out the customer has the option to choose Door to Door
    • Door to Door shipping will be quoted for separately resulting in the delivery charge not added to your cart
    • A link to the Courier's website and your tracking number will be emailed to you
  3. Collect from the DAN Shop in Midrand, Gauteng
  4. Arrange for your courier to collect from the DAN Shop
